In the beginning there were four forces combined to make the world; Water, Fire, Air, and ROCK. It was with the power of rock that the band Fountainhead rose from the ground and commenced to rock faces off, circa 2003 A.D. In the beginnings of the fall, the founder of all, Mike Harms, assembled the band. It was one fateful Saturday that the original four met. Michael A. Harms Esq. on the sax and vocals, along with Justin Bunke on the Lefty Strat of Fury met the Reverend Doctor M. Flash who was soon to become the bassist. The three departed from Michael’s domicile and made the trek to the middle of balls nowhere to rock out hardcore with Nathaniel Warner, the drummer sent by God to purify the world of whiny fools with ear shattering solos. The four rocked out, then watched a movie.

Later, additional members of the band were added. Andrew Richner, the face melter himself, joined the group on the keyboards and vocals. Eventually, David Wang finally showed up to a practice to blast everyone with the Trumpet of Glory. Soon, it was spring time, and that meant only one thing. The band needed a show. The assembled the only three songs they could play coherently, Pizza Day (soon to become a standard closer), "Andrew has a Cold" Idioteque, and the loosely hacked together original number Justin’s Pants. By the grace of the gods of Rock, the band made it in to Century’s Battle of the bands.

They got fourth. However, the band wouldn’t be discouraged. They soon got another show at a church, and would never make that mistake again. The band received a lukewarm reaction from the fun loving Bible Buddies; however, they were paid in 25 dollars cash, which no one has seen again. The band soon added additional Mind Bending and well endowed Guitarist and Vocalist Taylor Weston. However, the year was over, and the summer found all members of the band in different locations, and no practices were forthcoming.

At the end of the summer, a mind blowing even occurred. The band was entered into another Battle of the Bands, this time, at a movie theater. They were able to play their three song concert/three soft tacos with such poise and dignity that the band won first place and was given recording time at a local studio.

Before the band knew it they were playing another show, this time, for some political thing that no one really paid attention to, at John Marshall. The day after the show, the band was featured on the front page of the local paper. Party. It didn’t really matter however, the picture was of Andy Welti, but at least some of the band was there.

And now Nathaniel Warner has gotten the drums made out of maple, and Fountainhead can record a demo. Rock and/or Roll.
